My first little cake dome... I can't remember the actual name for it. Sometimes I think I'm losing my memory, for real! I went to my local thrift store today and put the pieces together. People probably thought I was a weirdo putting this dome over 20 different plates and vases.
I glued everything with E6000 glue. I don't think I want to attempt the whole screw driver thing with china! I glued on this green flower knob (that I already had), to the top.
I picked this plate because I loved the chippy gold scalloped trim around the edge and the Victorian, vintagey (is that a word?) flowers.
I spray painted the little vase it sits on, I like it better white than clear. Cute little thing. Total Cost $2.75
