{Girl's Bed Re-do, Take 2}

Before.  I painted my girl's beds a couple months ago.  You can see the transformation of their beds here.   I just felt it still needed a little somethin.'  I decided my glaze would do the trick, love that stuff!  I wanted to dirty it up a bit and get that 'been there awhile' look.

The 'after,' after dirtying it up a bit.

A close-up shot of the glazing and distressing.

It just looks better (to me at least).  Some pieces don't need glaze and some don't need distressing at all!  It's a matter of personal preference and the style of the piece.  Happy painting everyone!

    Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hello...I love the bed...I think I have more fun glazing and distressing the furniture than I do painting it...stop by again and say hello...maybe I'll see you next week on Wow Us Wednesday...
