{Nord's Bedroom Set Makeover}

Well this is the 'after' (I guess I was a little too excited to get started and forgot to take a before, whoops!) I painted this Swiss Coffee from Ben Moore.

The wood started off looking like this.  These are the drawers to the dresser that's next on my list to complete the bedroom set.

I decided the original hardware would be perfect against the white. It adds some visual contrast and fits perfectly with the 'look.'

I distressed the edges and then added a tobacco glaze over the whole piece.  I used a wet washcloth to wipe the areas I didn't want the glaze so heavy.

It turned out pretty cute, she really liked it so I'm off to paint the dresser!

  3. Bedroom set, dresser, tables, and bed are furnitures that should be similar color or wood grain and style. As an alternative, create a contrast with your end tables by using a mirrored or metallic finish.
