{Heart Banner}

Well it's official, I shamelessly copied the very talented Melanie at The Frosted Gardner on this one.  I knew when I saw her Valentine heart banner I had to make it myself!  It looked so fun, and I didn't think I could screw it up.  Check hers out, so cute.

So easy.  Even I, with two left thumbs when it comes to crafty projects, can do this!!  Just rip out some pages in an old (unwanted) book, cut out some hearts, punch some holes, and lace jute through.  simple.  I love simple.

I filled my little apothecary jar with some of the leftover cutout hearts.

I love how it turned out, if I do say so myself.

And an extra bonus, with the leftover hearts I made a little heart banner for my daughter's footboard.

We'll find out if she likes it in about 20 minutes when she gets home from school.  My bet is that she does!!

I heart Valentine's Day.  And I especially heart simple projects!  Okay, cheesy I know.
